CCVHS350At Central City Value High School, the Special Education Team works tirelessly to ensure that all students' individualized needs are met. The team is composed of 3 Resource Specialist Teachers who work with different grade-levels across content areas. Ms. Kim Harmon works with the 11th and 12th grade students, Ms. Hana El-Farra works with the 10th grade students, while Ms. Ariel Sieverson works with the 9th grade students.

The team also collaborates with Designated Instructional Service (DIS) providers. The DIS services that Central City Value High School offers includes Speech-Language Therapy, Socio-Emotional Counseling, Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing services, along with Visual Itinerant services. The school has developed a full-inclusion model in which all students, regardless of disability, are able to participate in the general education classroom. This allows all individuals to have the opportunity to graduate with the A-G requirements necessary in order to apply to a four-year university.

Should you have any questions regarding the Special Education Program, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Ariel Sieverson, the school's Special Education Coordinator.
