This program grew to acknowledge female adult leaders at the schools as well. In April, Annie Wu presented Amanda Gorman’s book, The Hill We Climb and other Poems, to outstanding student leaders Camille S. and Evelyn G., as well as 18 year veteran and Value Schools leader, Vanessa Navarro. During the ceremony, Marisa Echeverria, the keynote speaker, delivered an inspiring speech about pursuing her dreams.
