My experience has been good overall. My other 2 children also studied at Central City as well as other members of my family, I like it because it is a small school which allows them to focus on the students. I love that the staff is able to make connections with each and every student and family. They are very welcoming and supportive with every academic and personal situation. My experience at the school has been very positive. My child has an IEP (Individualized Education Plan), and the team has been consistently supportive, communicative, and thoughtful in meeting his needs. I especially appreciate that he is still encouraged and challenged to develop his full potential by being placed in honors classes when appropriate, rather than being limited because of his IEP. University Prep truly values the whole child and sees students as individuals, not just numbers.
